Why I Love New Orleans

Like everyone, I get down on this city on a fairly regular basis. But then something happens to remind me why I live here and love it. So I figured I'd leave the ranting and raving to those who do it much more succintly and cleverly than I ever could, and instead post observations on the happy, the serendipitous, the mundane, and the sublime happenings that make New Orleans the only place I (and probably you) could ever live.
